News is just coming through that Stevie will be driving in the Kele World Challenge at Knoxville over the next week or so.
Here is a snippet of an email message recevied from Stevie
"The day after camp finished, Tom Schmeh from the Sprintcar Hall of Fame, sent me an email asking him to call him about an exciting opportunity. I called him and he asked if I would like to race in the nationals. I couldnt believe it at first.
The cars engine is a 360 cubic inch, but the idea is to get experience on Knoxville and also have a kiwi in the "Kele World Challenge Race" which I qualified for in February this year.
The owner ill be driving for is Mike Woodring.
I watched Saturdays racing and the cars are very fast. I have been hanging out with Ricky Logan and he has been teaching me abit about driving on the track.
Cant wait till the nationals start. My qualifying night is on Wednesday."
Stevie then sent some more information through regarding the car and team.
"The Car I'll be driving is a BRAND NEW Maxim, only 2 shows old. They are picking up an engine at the moment, which is their BEST engine. The one in there car is good, but their good one has another 15 more horse power.
The team won "Team of the Year" last year.
