Stevie completed a practice session Sunday (our time) at Knoxville. Here is what he had to say; "Hi Everyone, I'm really excited to be back here racing at Knoxville, the Sprintcar Capital of the World!! We had practice from 7pm - 10pm on Saturday. We got to the track and unpacked. At around 7pm cars were being called up. You could choose what group you wanted to run in. So we went up in the first group of 360s. We did 5 laps, then the yellow flag came out. When I backed-off the car jumped out of gear, since I hadn't locked it in (oops). I pulled into the pits, hoping for a restart. They said I could go back out with the second group instead - to make up for the lost track time - which I did. The surface at Knoxville has changed slightly this year, with a bit of the banking being taken out. You can really feel the difference. For the first and second practice runs, I spent most of the time dialing into the track. For the 3rd run, we made a few changes which made the car feel a lot nicer. We had 4 runs in total and they were all positive. I can't wait till the racing starts on the weekend, this Saturday night. 7 till late. There is a broadcast of Knoxville Raceway. Im finding out about that tomorrow and will let you know the address. 7pm Saturday at Knoxville will be 12pm Sunday in NZ. Mark it in your calendar! Stevie Knoxville"
